  • Are Heathens Able to Believe in a god?

According to the Bible (especially in the Book of Matthew), it is not impossible for heathens to believe in a god. Any Christian who has read Matthew 18:17 thoroughly will notice that Matthew referred to the Antichrist people who were unwilling to hear God as heathens. It is true that heathens are generally atheistic and do not acknowledge any deity in their daily lives. Most heathens are are enemies of the Living God and want to hear nothing about Him. During the days of our Lord Jesus Christ, He taught us to identify unconverted individuals as heathens. See Matthew 18:17. In Matthew 18:17, He purposefully described heathenistic people as people who did not know the true righteous God and hated His Holy words.

However, Paul seems to assert in Acts 17:22-23 that it is not impossible for the Spirit to find heathens as sinful people who hold theistic values. A person who is considered to be theistic believes in a god or deity. There are atheists who believe they exist because of electricity? It is not so wrong to assert that “the disbelief” of an atheist can be tantamount to any form of belief? Do you disagree that heathens may never be able to believe in deities?
